I began CrossFitting in the summer of 2011 and eventually attended a level one seminar in the spring of 2012. CrossFit appealed to me in many ways, but the biggest draw for me was the mental aspect of it. At its core, it’s just a strength and conditioning program, but the mental fortitude required and attained through CrossFit has made it so much more for me. CrossFit to me is a mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual journey that cultivates a better you. CrossFitters all have a common denominator, and it’s self-improvement. In my few years of training and coaching, I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful people who have a desire to just get better, in all aspects of life. I take great pride in knowing that I have hopefully made a difference in the lives of many. I’ve been able to share a passion of mine with a community that is unlike any other. I look forward to the years to come and can only hope they will be as rewarding as these last few have been.
